What electrode for welding and exhaust?

My vans exhaust has developed a hole. I wan to patch it. I have 2.5mm 6013 electrodes. Will these do the job or would they just burn a bigger hole?

Keep the amperage down, and don't hold in one spot too long, and the 6013 should do the trick. It is a very easy rod to weld with. Try to patch it first instead of filling in a hole with welding rod only. A MIG welder would do much better, if one is available.
