fabricating downpipe?

i need to make some changes on my downpipe ( just the bends) because it wont fit the car with aftermarket turbo manifold because it moved the stock position of the turbo. just wondering if i can just bring it to a muffler shop and have them make the changes. im just worried about the welding. dont i need a special kind of welding because this parts really becomes too hot. what do you guys think?
i think that doesnt matter. anyway its for 07 mazdaspeed6. the downpipe is stainless steel
