how to change the colour of flames?

okay so im having a halloween party, and it's going to be a BBQ and bonfire type of thing, and i wanted there to be an interesting activity to do

recently in science we did an experiment with copper chloride that made the flames of a bunsen burner turn green. I wanted to do a similar thing at my party but on a bigger scale, where you would just throw in the substance to make the bonfire flame change colour.

i heard that salt makes it turn bright yellow, and i also heard there are kits that you can get that change the fire colour. but i need to find out some ways that i can do it with easily attainable substances. welli hope you can help me, if you know any let me know.

get a garden hose cut it into pices and stuff a coppper pipe in side of the hose.. and put it in the fire. it will make the flames different collors..
