Here are some more information for Subaru Impreza Wrx:

Out of all, the most impressive and fine Subaru WRX car parts is the turbo XS turboback exhaust. It is used for enabling the car to deliver high performance. It works by replacing the existing stock exhaust system. The turbo XS turboback exhaust mainly starts from the turbocharger to the rear muffler which also features a mandrel bent stainless 4 inch bellmouth downpipe which tapers down to 3 inch towards the flange. It can also be added into a 3 inch high-flow catalyst converter or also 3 inch catless race pipe which enters a 3 inch midpipe connected to a N1 style muffler fitted with a 4 inch titanium tip. It is a large piping diameter due to which it is one of the best available in the market. By installing it adds power so the exhaust turns out to be loud. These exhausts are made up of stainless steel which is long lasting. In this, the mounting points are factory cut/welded. There is no risk in buying these exhaust systems because they come with a 5 year warranty and they can be used widely for an off-road use.
One can find a Subaru WRX also with a custom designed Cobb Tunning SF intake which has several unique features for ensuring the optimal flow and performance. Cobb Tuning SF intake comes with several things such as a custom conical cloth air filter, CFD-designed velocity stack and also a unique air flow straightener grid which is specially designed for smoothing the incoming air flow which helps in precise readings. The main work of it is to eliminate the dead spots which are caused by the intake turbulence.
There are several other advantages also such as it saves weight, keeps incoming air cool, prevents heat soak and also eliminates any unsightly welds or other fasteners. These WRX parts are made after several researches and specially designed for the Subaru WRX. These parts can also be used with Stage 1 and Stage 2 Cobb Accessport maps and it can be cleaned with cleaning/oiling kit. These parts can be used for throughout the life of Subaru WRX. It also includes a support bracket which is powder coated black for ensuring secured installation.
If anyone wants to make their Subaru WRX more powerful and also reduce its turbo lag then they should go for the Cobb Tuning Downpipe. These WRX parts are designed for obtaining optimal performance and also durability which features a 304 Stainless Steel construction. The basic purpose of these parts is to reduce the lag and it also improves low-end torque and the biggest thing is that it offers great durability in high speed uses. These parts are mainly found in two versions, the street and race version. In the street version, a bellmouth section is available which helps in allowing exhaust gases to flow smoothly with the help of a 3 inch mandrel bent stainless steel piping into a metallic catalytic converter and it also not reduce the horsepower. On the other hand, the race versions do not include a catalytic converter and on its place an auxiliary O2 sensor bung is placed near the turbo. In the race versions, most of the parts are made up of stainless steel which includes hangers, flanges, O2 sensor bungs, casting and piping.
To increase the power of Subaru WRX, intake systems are widely used. There is no need to upgrade the ECU and on its place one can use a new turbos, intercoolers and boost controller. Subaru WRX car parts are made for enhancing its power and performance and there is no risk in using these parts. These car parts are affordable also.

Subaru Puts Impreza Wrx on a Strict Diet
The next-gen Impreza WRX photos have been released earlier than the embargo deadline by Road & Track. The official debut of the car took place at the 2007 New York Auto Show in April. Obviously, the upcoming WRX has undergone a strict diet to strip those unwanted bulges.
“It’s refreshing to catch a glimpse of the top-mounted intercooler while looking at the functional hood scoop on the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX. So many scoops, vents and wings are purely cosmetic nowadays. That the rest of the car is as mature and functional is a bonus,” said Phil Floraday of Auto Week.
“Wagon fans will notice that the wagon becomes a hatchback and goes by the term ‘five-door.’ The change from wagon to five-door also drops 110 pounds from the curb weight, so we have no complaints. Sedans only drop 50 pounds. To simplify matters, there will be no TR model at launch, but Subaru hasn’t ruled it out for later,” he added.
Subaru spent some time modifying the WRX to pave the way for a sleek and gorgeous car with exceptional performance and handling.
According to leaked documents posted on NASIOC.com, the Subaru Impreza WRX will be sold to the public starting September this year as a 2008 model car. During the New York Auto Show unveiling of the car, a spokesman announced that the next-gen Impreza WRC will be based on the hatch version of the car.
The upcoming car will be available in both a five-door hatch and a sedan. The engine used is still the EJ255. Peak horsepower and torque as the same, but the peak horsepower will output at 5600 rpm and the peak torque at 2800 rpm.
The sedan version has two exhaust outlets while the hatchback will have one exhaust outlet on the right. The car is based on a shortened Legacy platform. The front suspension uses a MacPherson strut setup while the rear is a new double wishbone suspension. Additionally, aluminum parts have been dropped due to the rising costs.
The EPA gives the next-gen car 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. Those who test drove the car said the numbers could probably be improved by a sixth gear, allowing for a better economy at freeway speeds. So far, the WRX has not been rated for emissions yet.
Wayne Cunningham of CNET has this to say: “Subaru's WRX gained cult popularity among video gamers and drivers who wanted racing performance on a budget. We tested out the newest iteration, the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX, and have some bad news: the WRX has matured. Oh, it still has rally handling, a screaming engine, and a scoop on the hood for its intercooled turbocharger. But its refined body style will make it fit right in the corporate parking lot, and even the Subaru Forester has a hood scoop.”
Subaru rivals with the Legacy Spec.B, an all-wheel-drive car that offers Subaru's SI drive system. For about half the money, shoppers could also get the all-wheel-drive Suzuki SX4, although you should wait to see how well it does in World Rally Car competition, Cunningham noted.
What are the WRX’ good points? Taking Subaru car cover off the next-gen Impreza reveals the essentials. Enthusiasts say that the most fascinating feature of the car is the all-wheel-drive system which helps it hold the corners well. What is more, the navigation system has impressive graphics and a complete points-of-interest database; and the stereo has the most tweakable equalizer. What about the not-so good points? They say the unavailable Bluetooth cell phone integration and its mediocre fuel economy.
