Here are some more information for Chrome Chevelle:

When you want to draw a car that everyone in the World will recognize, you can't go too far wrong if you draw an American car from the 1950's. The reason I say that, is that so many of those cars are legendary today!
To narrow it down even further, I would choose to draw the Chevrolets of that decade. While the early cars like the 1950 Chevy might not be as popular as some years, it is still loved by many people.
The '58 and '59 Chevys were not loved when they were built, but now have a large "cult" following. Watch the movie "American Graffitti," and tell me that Ron Howard's '58 Chevy isn't beautiful, and it is almost stock.
Without a doubt, the most iconic cars of the period were the '55, '56, and '57 Chevrolets. They were big, by today's standards, and were reasonably cheap. In addition, they had V8 engines that could be "coaxed" to produce impressive horsepower! This became the engine used in all of the race cars of the time, it was bullet proof!
One thing that makes these cars so good as the basis of a drawing, is that they had personality! They had chrome all over! The rear, the sides, and especially the grilles! Learn to draw chrome, and you will be able to create drawings that really excite people. Chrome is very easy to reproduce, if you just look at what it does, it is a curved mirror! Chrome just shows what it "sees," but distorted by the curved surface.
By choosing the right angle, you can show details that couldn't be shown in any other way. By drawing a bumper over rider, you can show the grille in the reflection that looks like a bar code. Some very unusual effects will present themselves once you start to study the "shiny bits."
Some automotive artists have made a living, just by drawing the interior elements of these cars. Possibly inspired by science fiction, or rocketry, these dashboards look like something right out of Flash Gordon! If you learn to draw the view from the driver's seat, you will find many people that will love to own your artwork. Even if a person can't afford the car, he would still love to own its likeness.
Drawing cars is easy, if you start out with the right subject!

Antique classic cars
There are several examples of classic cars in America, some of the most popular are:
Ford Mustang, Dodge Charger. Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Chevelle, BMW 3 Series, Bentley Turbo R, and Volkswagen Beetle.
Classis cars captivate people from all ages; they are somehow part of the 20th Century history. Car shows and exhibitions are held throughout the world where classic cars enthusiasts reunite to exhibit their jewels.
When built, cars are not meant to be a classic, time and people are the two key factors when deciding what becomes a classic and what does not. American culture has given classic cars a new meaning. Restorations worth tens of thousands of dollars and paint jobs that resemble a brand new car, and chromed engines, are just part of the investment that classic cars enthusiasts perform to maintain their jewels flawless.
One famous classic car collector is NBC’s former star on ‘The tonight show’ Jay Leno. He does not only collect classic cars, but also classic motorcycles. His cars range from the early 1900’s to modern masterpieces.
Classic car auctions take place al over the United States, these auctions are the perfect place to find rare pieces as well as bargains; television broadcasts take place from time to time, representative of the love and admiration that the American society has given to the classic cars move.
Owning a classic car in not cheap, for starters, classic cars need a lot of maintenance, the cars should always be kept clean and away from direct sunlight to avoid damages in the paint job, tires for classic cars are always a details that should not go unattended, and some sets of tires can cost up to $5,000.00 USD. Transportation to car shows is also expensive whether if it is via air or ground.
One of the most important pieces of the car and most of the times, the most expensive, is the engine. When we talk about classic cars and engines, you better take your check book with you, not every engine can be placed in every car, moreover, the engine that will be placed in a classic car must be chromed and have state-of-the-art components, and that costs money. That is why you will often find celebrities whose hobby is collecting classic cars, and who could blame them? They have the money to do it!
Classic cars are here to stay, so next time you see one of these jewels down the street, stop and admire the fine piece of art and the culture on wheels. In case you want to check more about this topic, try to visit www.antique-classiccars.com

I have a 71 Chevy Impala Convertible in perfect condition. This guy wants to trade me for a 69 Chevelle!!?
I know this is hard with no pics, but both cars are almost show room condition. My impala is black with 350 motor and the Chevelle is red with black rally strips, scoop hood, its an SS clone, Bishoff engine service engine build, has a shift kit with stall converter. I think it may have a 396, hi ride intake, demon carb?, headers, chrome dress up, etc. i have to ask him! Should I trade? Which is worth more?
go for the chevelle, your getting the best deal for sure, the chevelle is worth quite a bit more than your impala and are real easy to sell if you ever want to get rid of it.
Selling in the Motor City: RM Auctions hawks muscle cars, classic sheetmetal and even a boat at Detroit event:
The steering wheel in a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible is surprisingly thin. It's oversized and humongously circular, but still startlingly narrow considering it directs a very bargelike Caddy. Oh, and the seats are fairly comfortable.
