Review Process of Fabrication Drawings and Erection Drawings
In the construction process, basic function of a fabricator is to provide all necessary shop drawings and construction documents to the contractor. These drawings are prepared after thorough review of the design drawings, specifications and bidding documents provided by the structural engineer.
Fabrication drawings commonly include the following:
# Structural Element Drawings
The drawings for basic structural members, such as web steel joists, must be sealed, signed and dated by the Structural Engineer.
# Erection Drawings
These drawings primarily show the placement of structural members, connections and components to be supplied by the fabricator. When these drawings include design by the Structural Engineer, the drawings shall be sealed, signed and dated by the Structural Engineer.
# Connection Design or Shop Fabrication Drawings
These drawings provided by the fabricator shall give all information necessary for shop personnel to assemble and fabricate the components. These drawings shall be sealed, signed and dated when incorporating design by the Structural Engineer.
# Construction Engineering Drawings
These drawings provided by the contractor shall cover load analyses, temporary bracing and erection sequence. The drawings shall be sealed, signed and dated by a qualified member.
Drawing submittals should be reviewed for common compliance with the structural Contract Documents but generally the review does not include issues such as checking dimensions and review of the safety measures. The General Contractor is required to review the submittals before it gets reviewed by the SER.
Fabricator should review the shop drawings and other submittals in conformation with the Contract Documents. When required, the shop drawings should bear the signature and seal of the responsible Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer whose seal and signature appear on the drawings is responsible for the design of the Structural Members and connections indicated.

The Chinese Type 53 Mosin Nagant Carbine 7.62X54R?
I got mine through a Navy Arms retailer in my area about 18 years ago. Are these worth anything and if so "about" how much?
I would say that mine seems to be in average to good condition. I attached a link showing a pic of a similar rifle, mine looks like the one on top. The numbers I noticed on the receiver are "1296", 19543, and the ser. # starts with 103. It has a bayonet on it, as I'm sure they all do. It is missing the cleaning rod, it looked like it had a steel one on it before I lost it in the woods while target shooting it years ago. Does anybody no where to get these rods at a cheap price? Thanking you all in advance for your help!

The third lunar month of 1954, whatever that relates to in Chinese to Western. It's not an exact translation to our months.
There's good news and bad.
Good News. It is sort of an oddball Mosin model in the US, so in the future you should expect collector interest in them to rise. Especially since we likely will not see further import of Chines arms to the US (until after the war, of course). "Collector interest" does not always equate to "value", but it sometimes does. Some Mosin collectors like me pay way too much money for a Chinese 53 when we find one, as we don't see them that often. $150.
Bad News. The market has been flooded with USSR M44 Mosins for several years and prices are dog dirty low and cheap for excellent unused guns. When supplies dry up, prices will rise.
The cleaning rod is different than the Russian M44, but no one will likely notice.
