Smoke from the passenger side exhaust is more?
1992 3000GT SL, rebuilt, 100 miles. White smoke is coming out of my exhaust. I'm getting a MAFS and Barometric sensor engine codes, and I'm pretty sure I need to fix 2 of the spark plugs. But what concerns me is that there is a lot more smoke coming out of the passenger side exhaust than the driver side. I looked under and noticed that the passenger side's (more smoke side) muffler was way smaller. Could that have anything to do with it?
if this is new, white smoke is normally a result of air & coolant leaking into engine intake from a gasket. since yours was rebuilt I would bet there's a pinched gasket on the Passenger side intake. Get it fixed before it damages engine.
Smaller muffler wont do this but is weird, could cause some power and or mileage loss. Have it updated to correct sizes
