How to make my truck deeper and louder?

i have a 2000 Chevrolet silverado 1500 single cab, short bed, with a 4.3L V6
My exhaust setup is dual straight pipes.
No Muffler or Catalytic Converters.
Coming straight out under the bumper.
I like the sound it has without any muffler, i would like to keep it that way.
How if possible can i make my vehicle deeper and or louder????
I am in the process of buying a new V8 6.0L.

Increase your pipe size (ie 2" pipe to 3" pipe) and shorten the exhaust by running pipes out the side in front of the rear tires. I have seen some run the pipes straight up through holes in the hood or up behind the truck cab. Loud and proud. God Bless America.
