X-Men Origins: Wolverine tells the tale of Logan (born Jack), as he goes from unsure young boy to the amnesia-stricken killer we meet in the first X-Men. Is the latch that comes with fiberglass hood as string as the original?

I bought a 4'' fiberglass hood for my Camaro and it says this on their site:

"The hoods install using factory hinges for installation. All hoods also come with a latch. We recommend the usage of hood pins for all hoods. Hood pins sold separately. "

Is their latch of cheap quality or something, or will it be enough without the sparco hood pins I bought?

The latch is fine and most people won't have a prob with it, but glass hoods are really made for racers and racers runs at higher speeds.

The latch is in the front center of hood, the hood is fiber glass. This is same setup as stock but stock has steel hoods

The front sides can lift up at higher speeds due to low weight on hood and only a center latch.

On my 1988 camaro, I have a harwood 4" cowl bolt on fiberglass hood.

With the latch, Close to the 1/4 mile traps the front corners of hood was lifting upp. I trap at 118 mph, so that was probbly 115 mph when it started to lift

After that I installed two pins (one on each side on front) and that cured the prob. No more lifting ends at the top end of track
