The Megan racing header is a steel header that is made with T-304 grade stainless steel. Each Megan racing header offers Mandrel tool bent tubing and flanges from a CNC machine. All Megan racing header parts are tested to ensure fit and performance meet all standard goals, and each Megan racing header comes with a one year warranty. All Megan racing header is a replacement for any factory header on a vehicle. All Megan racing headers with the exception of the Acura Integra GSR all come with the outlet that bolts right up to the vehicle's factory exhaust pipes. The Megan racing header for the Acura listed above offers a two and a half inch JDM outlet for power. All other Megan racing header parts will bolt directly on, and none come with the exhaust manifold gasket. This is a recommended replacement when bolting on the new header.

A two and a half inch collector for the high exhaust flow and the fact that this eliminates the need for the CAT makes it not legal in all 50 states. The Weapon R race header was made with years of research and development put into it including on the dynapack dyno. The Weapon R race header is only suggested for off road use as it is not legal on United States roads at this time, and the check engine light eliminator is recommended when using these headers. The Weapon R race header is available for only the B series of the Integra and is found for around $500, making it the most requested of all Weapon R race headers.

Honda to Unleash Mugen Type Rr in Japan

Japan is set to receive a special edition of the Civic sedan, the Mugen Type RR, which will have a retail sticker price of $39,000. Come September this year, Japanese car enthusiasts will be able to get their hands on the hottest Civic Type R yet – those who are quick and moneyed enough at least – for only a very limited 300 units will be available.

The beast, designed to be the ultimate front-engined/front-wheel-drive performance car gets 240 horsepower, a sport suspension and brakes, lowered ride height and Recaro seats.

But the heart of the Type RR is Honda's magnificent DOHC 2.0-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder. Mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the engine delivers the whopping 240 horsepower and 161 pound-feet of torque.

The Type RR sits on Bridgestone Potenza RE070 performance tires (225/40R18 all around) and weighs a mere 2,734 pounds. Honda- maker of top of the line parts like Honda control arm - has also upgraded the vehicle’s dual exhaust system and revised its air intake. The Mugen Type RR will come in Milan Red finish.

Honda’s Type R models are special performance editions of their respective model families, with the design of Type R ("R" for "Racing") models originally focused on race conditions, emphasizing on minimizing weight, and maximizing performance potential (e.g. engine tuning, suspension set-up, etc).

Type R vehicles traditionally have a red Honda badge and Championship White paint as an option to relate to their first F1 winning car. Honda's racing and F1 cars often feature a red Honda badge.

Today’s models however, now offer a greater breadth of ability, whole maintaining the Type R philosophy.

Honda had earlier released the new Civic Type R in Japan March this year.

JDM Acura Integra Type R B18C fit in Civic 99'?

Will a JDM Acura Integra Type R B18C DOHC Engine fit a 99 honda civic?

If so how do I modify it so the car runs as it should or better?

I'm almost turning 16 and I want to get some parts for a Civic that I will be able to afford. Dunno any set ups or not much good with cars so anyone willing to help plz and thank you.

You must mean the B18C5 and yes it will fit perfectly. If your Civic isn't an Si version then your in for some work. If you had an Si already all you would need is the B18C5 engine and ECU for it to run correctly.

If you have an DX, LX, or EX 99 Civic that means you have the D series engine. In order to properly install a B series engine into your D series Honda Civic you would have to replace a couple of parts. You would have to get the correct motor mounts, ECU, transmission, axles, etc.

For future reference on anything just refer to the forums. There your best bet at finding out new info. But before you post anything READ READ READ!
