Will additional electronics effect the performance of a hybrid, other than adding more weight?

I currently own a 2008 Escalade with 2 12" subs and a 1000 watt amp, I am however considering purchasing the new Escalade Hybrid when it comes out and was wondering if my sound system + the addition of 3 10" monitors in the car would effect the electric engine as it seems like it would steal some of the power away and would maybe force the car to use more of the gas engine when it could be using the electrical one.

I don't think it would.
