How to determine if my TSI engine is CCTA or CBFA ? A. To determine if your TSI is the CBFA, look at the stock intake system. If your intake system has a small 1 inch diameter hose coming off of the airbox, before the Mass Air Flow sensor, your vehicle is CBFA. In addition, if you look at the top of the crank case cover on the top of the motor, the sticker will indicate whether your motor is the CBFA or CCTA. Q. Do you have a downpipe that would fit on TSI CBFA engine? A. Sorry currently we do not have a downpipe that works on TSI CBFA engine without modification. |

Here are some more information for Downpipe Exhaust:

One of the privileges of living in the UK is having easy access to water. However, there are areas in England which are experiencing water shortages. This will come as a surprise to many. Therefore this will be a wake up call to many of us who take our water for granted. There are methods of saving water, and once we start doing this, we will reap the benefits.
Rainwater harvesting is collecting rain water that would otherwise go down the gutter. If everyone started harvesting rainwater they will be surprised to learn how much water we will be saving. Rainwater harvesting is a practice that has been around for centuries and is still used around the world. Household-owners are mostly unaware of the advantages associated with rainwater harvesting. For instance if we find ways to preserve rainwater, our water bills will be cut dramatically.
The water butt
One very cost effective way of collecting rainwater is to place a water butt on your down-pipe and save the water for use in the garden or for car washing. If you have a big garden, you could even fit two water butts next to each other from the same downpipe.
If you wish to go one step further, you can try upgrading to a simple harvesting rainwater pump and filter. This pump creates a pressurized system that can then be used in conjunction with a hosepipe; great for watering the garden or washing the car using a hosepipe.
How can we use the rainwater?
You can use rainwater for outdoor purposes such as topping up swimming pools, washing windows watering the garden, and cleaning patios. As well as saving on drinking water-use, rainwater is beneficial for other purposes too. For example, it encourages less build-up of calcium deposits in appliances.
Using the rainwater around the house
Once the rainwater is filtered, it can even be used around the house to supply toilets or washing machines. However, it is important for the rainwater to be filtered and siphoned in order to make it suitable as a source of non-drinking water.
In deciding which tank to install next to your house, you should think about a few things. The type of area you live in, the number of people that are living with you, and the amount of water that will be used all play a big part. The procedure is then as follows; once the correct tank has been installed the rainwater is then filtered and pumped into a header tank in the loft of your home where it is distributed into a household and non-drinking supply. Do not be surprised to learn that some modifications will need to be done to your existing plumbing. This is essential so that the rainwater supply will be separate from your fresh water supply.
Additional thoughts
As the water rates are continuing to get higher, more people are getting concerned on how to save on money. This is why rainwater harvesting is now becoming a viable option to the household owner. Much of the water that we use does not have to come from the mains supply, as rainwater will be just as sufficient. There are many long-term benefits associated with harvesting rainwater, and these should not be dismissed.

Got A Need for Speed?
Movies like "The Fast and the Furious" and video games like "Gran Turismo" are extremely popular among many people and gave rise to a whole new generation of racing fans. Of course, you should know that racing is far more than putting your pedal to the metal. Modifying your car and learning about the hobby can shape you into a true racing enthusiast.
A great car doesn't just mean that it looks great. To make it reach its potential, your car should have the best features like a powerful downpipe and engine. There are a few ways for you to combine both style and power in your car. Here are some tips.
1. The exterior. In other words, "pimping your ride." You want your car to look really good, and you should choose the most eyecatching colors and features to set it apart from the others. But it's not just all about the looks. Pimping your ride properly means you have to ensure that it runs efficiently, too.
2. The interior. There are many things that can go wrong with racing, so race car drivers should always prioritize safety. Properly padded seats are important, as well as air bags and rollover protection. Other changes you can make that play an important role in your driving are the steering wheel and pedal textures. Leather or rubber covers, of course, provide better friction, which are of great help in handling the car. Pedals with textured surfaces allow your feet to stay put more effectively and not slide, compared with a smooth pedal, so you can have better control over the speed of your car.
3. The engine and car parts. The engine and other parts have to be maintained and checked up regularly to make sure that your car is performing at its peak. Don't just leave it all up to the mechanic; you have to be well versed in car parts and electrical parts, from the ignition to the cold air intakes to the exhaust headers and transmission. You should know how to troubleshoot any issues they might have, identify what causes the problems, and be able to choose the best products.
The best cars are made, so if you're not completely happy with yours, you are totally free to choose the right features which will suit your needs. Whatever components or accessories you select, if you know how they work, can make a very important difference in how your car runs. Of course, keep in mind that your car won't be the best one out there if you're not a good driver. Practice discipline at all times, and you should have presence of mind while driving so you can respond quickly in case of an emergency or impending accident.

what downpipe i need to get for Eclipse 420A turbo?
so yeah ive been searching a lot, not like some other people-just give them F-ing answers right away. I did a lot of research-my head is not working anymore.......OK What downpipe you, 420A guys, are running? where i can get it? What turbo elbow you guys are running? where i can get it? and where i can get the elbow pipe that goes on the external wastegate? i donn wanna recirculate-i want it dumping in the air, not back to the exhaust. Thanks DSMers.
first and foremost, you are NOT a dsmer. the 420a is a junk engine made by chrysler, not mitsubishi chrysler partnership that forms dsm. second most of the 420a turbo parts are custom made. if you need help with a DP then go to a muffler shop in your area and get them to make you up something. it is very easy, just a little welding. same thing for the turbo elbow (commonly called a o2 houseing, with or without the o2 sensor). same thing for the dump tube off the wastegate.
Thanks for visiting!
