Is there something I could use to clamp an exhaust flange to the upper end of the flex pipe, that attaches to my cars catalytic converter, without welding? The diamond-shaped flange, with the two bolt holes on either side, snapped off. Or, is there a way to fasten the pipe to the cat. without a flange? Maybe I could somehow knock the flange off the cat converter, and fasten the two parts using a band flange? (I could just replace the flex pipe, or buy a propane torch, but if I could fix the thing with a 10 - 20 dollar piece ... that would be better ....
